Meet The Author

Donald R. Payseur believes that everybody has a story to tell. These are his.

Donald is an entrepreneur, pilot, and lifelong storyteller whose life has been shaped as much by failure as by success. His writing is grounded in real experiences, hard lessons, and the belief that growth often comes from the moments we least expect.

His first book, Flying High, draws from years in aviation and business, connecting the discipline of the cockpit with the realities of life, faith, and leadership. Through personal setbacks and hard-earned recovery, Donald explores how structure, accountability, and humility can help steady us when everything feels out of control.

His second book, The Dad Who Adopted Me, is deeply personal. It tells the story of being chosen by a man who stepped forward and changed the course of a child’s life. The book explores adoption, fatherhood, complex family relationships, and the unseen emotional weight many carry. At its core, it is a story about love that shows up, stays, and does the work.

Donald writes for those who have stumbled, started over, or quietly wondered if their story mattered. He does not write from a distance, but from lived experience.

Because everybody has a story to tell.
These are his.
